In celebration of my late wife, Charlotte Highwood.

On the 14th June 2025, I have challenged myself and some lovely 'willing' friends to take on the Lake District Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer. Our challenge, is a 25 mile hike around the lovely Ullswater.

For me, this is about doing something positive, saying thank you for all the support we received and helping to raise funds to support others living with cancer.

So, in memory of our beautiful Charlotte, I ask you to support 'Team Highwood' to raise our individual pledges of £250. (A target of £1250).

And now for the data...

£250 can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day, and could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
