Blackpool Night Run 2023 · 30 August 2023 ·

Blackpool Night Run is a 7.5km fun along Blackpool promenade, under the famous Blackpool Illuminations to support Brian House Children's Hospice.

Story

Some of you may or may not know, that our beautiful grandma recently passed away.

In her final few weeks, she was lovingly cared for by the wonderful trinity hospice, who gave us the best gift of all - for a short time, they gave us grandma back.

Their care and comfort allowed her to be her chipper old self and gave us time to say goodbye & for that we will be forever thankful.

As a result of this Myself, my Big Brother Dan & my boyfriend Jono, have decided to do something nobody would ever imagine a higgy to do.

A charity run 🙈

We’re not generally a very athletic family. Personally, having never ran before June this year (thank you couch 2 5k), this will be quite a challenge for us, but we really wanted to do something to help this incredible charity.

If you’ve got a few pennies to spare, please do feel free to do so

About the charity

Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice provide specialist palliative care to adults and children across the Fylde Coast and much needed support for their families. Our services are available free of charge, but with limited government funding we need to raise over £10 million every year.
