We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

Hi I’m Becci, the Team GOSH Essex ringleader. Great Ormond St made my little girl better and I now I am so ready to give something back to this incredible hospital, and help other families like ours.

My friend Aimi suggested we run the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October for GOSH and I signed up straight away, I decided to put a post on Instagram to see if anyone else wanted to join us and help raise some money and get fit ..... since then our team has grown massively.

Some of us have never even run a mile
Some of us have run marathons
Some of us have only ever run to get last orders at the bar

But nearly all of us have children! In fact, we have over 60 children between us, (most of them are Carly’s 😂) and we all want to help!

We started off as the #mumsontherun
But now we have dads too, and even a dad dressed as a mum, as well as

Pt’s,
nurses,
yoga instructors,
you tubers
Stylists
Mums and dads

We are a right mix

Some speedy,
some slow,
It doesn’t matter
Our team is growing everyday and we are supporting each other in every way
We are training hard and are dedicated to raising as much money as we can

This will help fund

- Vital research to help find cures for children with life threatening diseases

- Support for the children and their families

- And buy Life saving medical equipment

- Together we will all get round that half marathon even if We have to drag each other round ...

We are team GOSH Essex :) and we are going to raise loadsa of cash.
