Prevent is the UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer, Prevent are committed to freeing the world from the disease altogether. Unlike many cancer charities, they are focused on preventing, rather than curing. Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, to stop the problem before it starts. 

One of our team members was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in April 2016.  Early diagnosis and other screening in addition to mammogram may have had an impact on her outcome. We are a women's cycle group, based in South Manchester close to the head-quarters of this charity.
