Story
Team Fugro, Aberdeen will be taking part in a marathon-length walk 🚶 (26.2 miles) to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer and in support of Pancreatic Cancer UK!
This illness is particularly difficult to diagnose with a low survival rate, and more than half of the individuals with pancreatic cancer die within the first 3 months of their diagnosis.
This is a cause close to Fugro's heart, and the team at Aberdeen will be completing the walk on behalf of fellow colleague Charles Czajkowski who has been bravely battling the illness for 6 years. Charles is an inspiration to us at Fugro, and we hope to raise as much awareness as possible.
Team Fugro, Aberdeen will be starting their walk in Potarch and will be walking 26.2 miles back to the city centre, ending their walk at Duthie Park on 1 October 2022.
The team are hoping to raise £3,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK, who are supporting people with pancreatic cancer through campaigning and funding vital research to transform what the future looks like for individuals battling the illness.
Please donate to help us reach the target and to help an exceptionally worthy cause! #TeamFugro
