Story
After our daughter Freya was admitted to GOSH in July, we have experienced first hand just what funding does for the hospital and the children and their families receiving treatment there. Freya was diagnosed with JDM, a rare autoimmune disease affecting 1 in a million children. She lost nearly all mobility and was in so much pain, making it unbearable for her to be touched, moved or even hugged. Now, four months on after specialist care her illness is under control. She still has a long road ahead of her but she is back to her happy self and is walking again. There is no cure for JDM, with remission being the best outcome.
Every child deserves the chance to reach their potential. By taking part in London Santa Dash We are helping seriously ill children at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Your donation will help to fund ground-breaking research, advanced equipment, child and family support services, and the rebuilding and refurbishment of wards and medical facilities.
We will be doing the Santa dash together as a family, so please show support for Freya and donate to a cause close to our hearts.
