Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Team Essie JustGiving page.

We are Essie's Mummy, Daddy, Nana, Uncle Chris, Auntie Cassie and Auntie Julie and are running the Littlehampton 10k to say thank you to the amazing charity that helps us look after Essie. Grandpups has kindly volunteered to help look after the triplets, while we run!

Essie is amazing. She is an inspiration. She is the strongest person we know as has to fight each and every day to live a little bit longer and be around her family and friends.

Essie is a 17 month old triplet who suffered a catastrophic brain injury at birth and is life limited. She has now entered her end of life phase, but in typical Essie style has been end of life three times since the end of March and each time says "not now" and has fought to come home and spend some more time with her triplet brother and sister - as well as her family

Without Chestnut Tree House giving us support and help with Essie we wouldn't know what we'd do. It is not an exaggeration to say that they have changed our lives and we will always be truly grateful for this amazing charity.

Running the Littlehampton 10k is our way to say thank you. Please give whatever you can to this charity that only gets less than 10% of the funding it needs each and every year from the UK Government - so your money is very much needed and goes directly to helping 300 families like ours that have their own Essie.
