Story
Hello and welcome to Team Dynamite's JustGiving page!
Team Dynamite is Naomi, Amy, Katie and Gareth. We will be running 5km in the beautiful grounds of Escot House, near Honiton in Devon, on Sunday 24th March 2013 to raise much-needed funds for the Stroke Association. We are a mixture of beginners and old hands but we all have important reasons for taking part in this event and this is the first time we will have run together. Please support us by making a donation, sending us your messages of encouragement, and even coming to cheer us on and join us for a drink and a pub lunch afterwards!
Around 150,000 people in the UK have a stroke every year; that's one person every five minutes. Most people affected are over 65, but anyone can have a stroke, including children and even babies.
The Stroke Association provides high quality, up-to-date stroke information for stroke patients, their families and carers, and funds research aiming to make stroke a preventable and treatable disease, and to improve the quality of life for people affected by stroke.
Thank you so much for any contributions you are able to give to this brilliant cause.
