Thank you for coming to our page. 

This May, a motley crew (mostly descended from someone called Ebeneezer Cornish) will be running the Gothenburg Half Marathon. We're doing this because it'll be fun, but we're also hoping that we can use it as a way of drawing attention to, and raising money for, a cause that has deeply affected us all. 

We lost Claire (wife, mother, sister, friend, aunt) a few months ago to a little-known and badly underfunded type of gynaecological cancer. 

Claire was a dazzling person: unusually kind, creative and generous. We miss her every day. 

Claire loved running, and so we have chosen this event to honour her memory and raise money for The Eve Appeal, one of the few charities funding research into endometrial cancer from which Claire suffered.
