Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Since my diagnosis with MND in 2014 I have challenged myself to raise funds and awareness as much as I can . Having being inspired by Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield I am going to be pushed round the 2023 Leeds Marathon in what appears to be an oversized kids buggy by my sister Ruth and her husband Andy Thompson. As part of this team effort my younger son Dave has been training hard and has gone from standing start to attempting the half marathon on the same day . This will be no easy challenge for any of us but at least I can sit and enjoy the ride . Any money raised over and above my target will go to fund much needed research .  Thank you for reading this and any donations are greatly appreciated.
