Thank you so much for your consideration in supporting Team-Belmont (Ayana, Neel, and Dyuti) as we plan to train 100+ miles this August to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research! September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we're getting a head start!

Training for a ride is fulfilling, but adding awareness for this cause and riding makes this effort more important for us. Ayana and I are excited to get ready for our first ever 50K (32 miles)! We'll report our mileage every week so you can see how we're doing!

Team-Belmont is inspired by our friends and former Belmont residents, the Hyde Family. Their daughter, Juliet, fought a courageous and grueling battle with cancer. Although we did not get to meet Juliet, we have been honored to hear about her personality and see her beautiful photo often. Kaya even learned how to ride a bike using Juliet's bike. 

Children diagnosed with cancer need less toxic, more effective treatment options. The sad reality is that they are receiving outdated therapies that were designed for adults. Children's bodies are not just tiny adult bodies though, and pediatric cancers require different treatment methods. We are fighting so that our youngest warriors have the chance to grow up.
