Jumping 12,000 feet for 25th anniversary
THE JUMP FINALLY WENT AHEAD 09/09 AND WE HAD A BRILLIANT DAY ENJOYING THE VIEWS. A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN SO GENEROUS WITH THEIR DONATIONS. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO THE OLIVER FISHER TRUST.
UPDATE - THE NEW DATE FOR OUR SKYDIVE IS 9TH SEPTEMBER - PLEASE GIVE WHAT YOU CAN. ONCE AGAIN, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT.
UPDATE - UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO BAD WEATHER, THE SKYDIVE WAS CANCELLED TODAY. AS SOON AS WE CAN RE-SCHEDULE, WE WILL POST THE DATE ON HERE.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT SO FAR AND WE HOPE TO CONTINUE RAISING AS MUCH AS WE CAN!
Both of us will be doing a skydive on the 13th July. We're hoping to raise as much money as we can as a thank you to the Oliver Fisher Trust which looked after us when we were born 25 years ago whilst celebrating their 25th anniversary. We were 7 weeks premature and we were both in the special care unit for four weeks. Helen weighed in at 3 pounds 8 oz while I was 2 pounds and 13 oz.
Helen wasn’t able to breathe on her own and so was put on a ventilator for a while. She then picked up an infection and was put on antibiotics and undertook some physio to clear it.Although we were seen as ‘normal prem’ babies, without the help and support of the Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust, it might have been a very different outcome. The equipment necessary to continue to provide the highest standard of care for premature babies is extremely expensive and we would like to help in this small way...please give what you can.
