Story

I’ll be running the London Marathon 2024 in memory of my Grandad Peter who passed away in December 2022 🩵💙

Dementia took away the Grandad I knew, and it eventually took his life.

He was very misunderstood with this illness, as I think many people with Dementia will experience, and I want to help raise awareness of the illness and how we can actually help people who suffer from it.

By running the marathon and raising money for Alzheimer’s I hope that I can bring support to people suffering from the illness and the people around them.

My Grandad was strong through his illness, and I will always look up to him. I want to be strong for him by putting myself to the test and running a marathon for him, and everyone else who has or has had Dementia.

Me and Alzheimer’s Society would really appreciate it if u can donate anything at all  - together we can help people affected by Alzheimers!!

I know that you’ll be running alongside me Grandad. I hope I make you proud! 🕊️💙

London Marathon 2024 here we come!!! 🩵
