On 29th March 2018, all the pupils and staff at St Paul's
School will take part in a walk to raise money for the charity Beyond Ourselves
(see below).  The aim is to collectively walk the distance between SPS and
our link schools in Zambia, a distance of around 6500 miles!  This means
if everyone walks approximately 6 miles, we will manage to cover it within one
morning.

It costs just £16 to put a pupil through education
(including meals etc.) for a whole month.  That's £192 for an entire year.

To employ a teacher for a whole year, it costs a little over
£1000.

If every pupil at St Paul's manages to raise £16 in
sponsorship, the amount we raised would be able to put 80 pupils through
education for a year in Zambia.  Obviously, we would like to be able to do
more.

It promises to be a fun event and the more we raise, the
more we help those in need - thank you for your support!

About Beyond Ourselves

Beyond Ourselves, a charity working in Zambia, provides
free, quality primary education to the most vulnerable in the communities they
partner with through a child sponsorship programme. It continues to support
many of these children, who would be unable to continue their education, into
secondary school. There can be little doubt of the transformative power of education
