Story
This year’s Rob Roy Challenge is raising money for several fantastic charities, two of which - Marie Curie and Maggie’s - are particularly close to the team’s heart following the incredible care they gave Gill’s sister, Tracy Jardine, and all her family, during Tracy’s cancer treatment.
Tracy died in January this year, but was hugely grateful for the support those charities gave her time and again during the hardest of times, when they are always there to scoop you up and do whatever they can to support patients and their families in a multitude of ways.
Tracy also loved her biking and had taken part in the Rob Roy Challenge herself a few years ago, so it’s great to be able to raise money to contribute to the support available for all those affected by cancer via this challenge.
We’re doing the ‘Big Red’ Rob Roy Challenge - a 14 mile walk/run and 35 mile cycle, and we've been training hard! We’d be hugely grateful for as much sponsorship as we can get for these great charities.
Thanks very much,
Gill Cruickshank, Sinead Power, and Liz & Barry Keane
