We will be taking part in a 35 mile charity bike ride through Hertfordshire on 12th May in memory of our dear friend David Minn, who we met living life to the full travelling South America in 2017.

After struggling to keep up with David on our bikes down Cotopaxi volcano in Ecuador, cycling through Peru on the Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu, racing down the "most dangerous road" in the world in Bolivia, biking across Moon Valley (Valle de la Luna) in the Atacama desert in Chile and pedalling along the Rambla de Montevideo coastline in Uruguay, I am grateful for this opportunity to cycle the David Minn Bike Ride 2019 in his memory. David was always smiling, forever kind, and continually up for a challenge - I know my travels wouldn't have been the same without him.

As David's sister Hayley is recovering from a preventative double mastectomy after finding out she was a carrier of the BRCA1 gene, all donations will be in aid of the Eve Appeal, the UK's only charity for research into the five gynaecological cancers.
