Perth Amnesty Group’s fundraising challenge for this year is to complete the Ben Lawers Traverse, comprising 7 Munros, canoe the length of Loch Tay, and cycle round it.

We Stand With Ukraine

Members  of Perth Amnesty Group take part in many of Amnesty International UK’s campaigns,

However, the Russian Invasion of Ukraine and subsequent human rights abuses have shocked all of us and the Group is using the challenge to draw attention to Amnesty’s work on this conflict. This involves monitoring the situation on the ground , which is not without danger, exposing crimes against humanity; gathering evidence of indiscriminate killing of civilians; pressing governments and decision makers to end the conflict and supporting everyone affected, particularly those seeking a safe refuge.
