Story
My Story:
In 2015 my Mum passed away from Cancer.
In her final days she received the highest level of physical care and was given the dignity she deserved by east Lancs Hospice.
This was not only the best thing that could have happened in these circumstances but was a great comfort to myself and my family in a time when we greatly needed it. I have also know other families have people rely on the Hospice and it brought them great comfort too.
The Hospice provides an essential service to people in these circumstances and the magical staff there make the whole process as pain free as they can for both the patients and their families. The charity relies heavily on donations and fund raising in order to deliver their impecibly high standard of care.
I sincerely hope you will never need their service, but if you do I wish for it to be there for you and your loved ones. For them to be able to do so they need upwards of £3 million per year.
I aim to, with your support, raise as much money as I possibly can for this worthy charity. So I will be undertaking a sponsored hike 4,413 feet to the summit of the mountain Ben Nevis …in fancy dress… yes fancy dress!
I ask you to please donate whatever you can to my cause and help me to contribute to the hospice in order for them to continue the amazing service that they provide.
