Story
Over the last few years we have lost some very dear working colleagues/friends to cancer and other illnesses;
As a close group of working colleagues, we wanted to do something to commemorate their memories, raise money for charity and lift spirits within our dealerships. A decision was made that each year we would hold team events to help raise money for our worthy charities.
- 2015 Bikeathon challenge and raised £2947.50 for Cancer Research
- 2016 The 3-Peak Challenge and raised a massive £4,770 for Cancer Research and Worthing Stroke Unit
- 2017 Kilimanjaro Charity Climb which raised a jaw-dropping £9,700 for Cancer Research and The Open Hands Project.
2019 is going BIG... Glenn Dadswell, Operations Director, and Bradley Arthur, Sales Manager, are preparing for the biggest challenge of their lives so far, The Everest Base Camp Trek which is, without doubt, the most challenging treks to take on. The 15-day challenge starts November this year and again we are looking to raise vital funds for our 2 chosen charities:
- Cancer Research in memory of our dear colleagues and friends
- Open Hands Project: a registered charity both in the UK and Romania which supports neglected and disadvantaged children in Romania. www.openhandscharity.eu
