Maggie's Cancer Centre's all over the country offer practical, emotional and social support to those people suffering the trauma of cancer, as well as to family and friends of those individuals.

To have such a Centre in Swansea is amazing. It costs approx £590,000 a year to keep one Centre open. 

Having seen family members battle the horrible disease that is Cancer, I take as many opportunities as I can every year to try and raise money for Cancer charities. 

This year I am going to participate in as many running events as possible and I will update my page with details as and when I have information.

So far I am signed up to Llanelli Half Marathon, Merthyr Half Marathon, The Great Welsh Half Marathon, Cardiff Bay 5 Mile, Wear Wally & Run For Life 10 Mile, Color Me Rad 5K, Swansea Half Marathon, Ammanford 10K, Tough Mudder, Severn Bridge Half Marathon, Maggie's Culture Crawl 9 mile walk, Cardiff 10K, Swansea Bay 10K, Survival of the Fittest and Cardiff Half Marathon. I intend on signing up to more events throughout the year. My pain will be temporary, others aren't so fortunate.
