Let's try again... Now taking place on 23rd July 2022 🌞
As you may or may not know, we've had of a rough time over the last few years with Sue (my mum's cousin) being diagnosed and living with cancer, losing Ross' granddad in 2019 to prostate cancer and then shockingly losing our sister in law, Lucinda, at the beginning of 2020 to bowel cancer, less than a month after diagnosis, at only 28 years old.
Our hearts are sad but our spirit is strong so we have decided to take on a challenge to raise money for a wonderful cause. We are taking part in the Macmillan Peak District Mighty Hike 🥾 Walking 26 miles in one day (a marathon!) on 23rd July 2022.
We've had the troubles of the world slow our training pace but we are working hard to raise money for an amazing charity and make our families proud on the day 💪🏻🥾
We want to raise money to help other families the way both of ours have been helped. Anything you can donate to help spur us on would be so appreciated 💜💚
We are stronger together 💜 #fuckcancer
98% of Macmillan's income comes from voluntary donations from supporters. In 2019, Macmillan helped 1.9 millon people receive in-depth, personal support.
