Fundraising for Richard House Trust

The Challenge.
Along with 18 other teams we will be participating in the Tashkent challenge, a new fund raising charity challenge event:
1. Buy a cheap banger
2. Do it up with no or very limited funds
3. Drive to Tashkent in Uzbekistan (Get lost and breakdown a lot)
4. Sell the banger
5. Give proceeds to Local Charities (Tashkent) 6. Fly back to UK The Plan. To Drive from Ash in Kent to Tashkent in Uzbekistan in March / April 2005 - over 5,000 miles. These are the countries that we will be visiting: France, Belgium, Luxemberg, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan (Tashkent). We leave UK 18th March 2005. For this challenge we are taking a 1986 Mercedes Estate with 'just' 169,000 miles and 7 previous careful owners. The Team. Craig and Mark are aiming to complete the full journey. Eloise is coming along as far as Turkey (Istanbul). All participants have little or no mechanical experience (None really necessary with a superior car like ours)! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
