Blenheim Palace Triathlon 2021 · 11 September 2021 to 12 September 2021 ·

Help us continue to support women of migrant status with training and employment!

Story

I am joining over 200 people from the Kensal Rise & Queens Park area to banish the Covid blues, get fitter and raise money for local charities.

For those who know me, know how much I love sport but an injury last year lead  to months on crutches, knee surgery and a ton of physio. I signed up for Blenheim triathlon to motivate me in my rehab and return to running and do some good by raising money for the 9Kitchens project.

9Kitchens are a community initiative that employs women who are facing barriers to employment by making plant based meals. Many of the women do not have formal qualification, are not proficient in English, have to look after their young children and can not afford childcare or are just subject to discrimination.

Please support  me doing Blenheim Triathlon on 11 Sept to raise money for 9Kitchens. Anything you can donate will make a difference. These are strong women who are able to work only if someone could give them the chance.

You can read more about 9Kitchens and get a delicious lunch or dinner every week that also supports local women. https://www.bompureasianfood.com/9kitchens-womenrefugees
