Story
What a stupid thing to do eh? I know it’s going to look awful, my family are going to wish I’d never done it, but I’ve been inspired by The Big Night In to do something for those that need us right now.
Between home-schooling, keeping my business afloat and trying (as we all are) to stay sane, I can’t physically get out and help anyone in need. I’ve done marathons and triathlons before, so that’s not going to get you to part with your hard-earned cash right now, and so the only thing I can think of doing is something that will make you smile.
So here I am, ready with the clippers. Praying I haven’t got an ugly skull and that I look more Demi Moore and less Matt Lucas.
If you can spare any cash right now, then please do. It will go towards helping those that are more vulnerable than ever before...
Comic Relief and BBC Children in Need have joined forces for the Big Night In Appeal to support people who really need it through this crisis. The coronavirus crisis has affected us all like we could never have imagined. Whilst we are all in this together, sadly, it is the most vulnerable in our communities who will be hit hardest by this crisis. For people reliant on services that keep them safe from harm, mentally healthy and with access to food, warmth and shelter; the physical and social isolation that is necessary to help prevent the spread of coronavirus puts them even more at risk. The money raised through The Big Night In Appeal will be split equally between Comic Relief and BBC Children in Need and will go on to support a variety of charities and projects in the UK so they can continue to provide frontline, essential support to people who need it through this crisis.
