I take part in events like these in memory of my father, in the hope that if he could see me he would be proud of everything I am trying to achieve. Cancer took my dad away from me, from all of us. He didn't deserve to die especially in the horrendous way he did. If i can raise vital funds to maybe help save somebody else and their families going through what me and my family have, then I would do it a thousand times over.

heres a few very scary statistics for you:

Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer.

More than 1 in 3 people in the UK will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime.

There are more than 200 types of cancer, each with different causes, symptoms and treatments.

More than 331,000 people were diagnosed with cancer in 2011 in the UK, that’s around 910 people every day.

So this is why I urge you all to please sponsor something no matter how big or small, it all helps.
