Story

Hi folks,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you will already know, on Sunday 10th October 2010 I will be running the London Royal Parks Half Marathon in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.

This cause is important to me as Alzheimers has directly affected my family.   It is a very misunderstood disease and I'm glad to have the opportunity to raise awareness and money for the charity, even if it means I have to get very red and sweaty in the process!   Those of you that know me well will be aware that running does not come particularly easily to me so I hope you'll help me in my training by donating lots of lovely dosh to spur me on!   I haven't got long to go now and I'd love to smash my target of £500.00.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Your details are safe with JustGiving - they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.   Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.   So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now, I need your help to conquer 13 miles!

Lots of love,

Tara xx

P.S. This one's for you, Pops...
