Story
Imagine this; it's 4 am, you're under cardboard shivering because it's below zero, frozen to the core. Another night without sleep means your day, week, year and life is shot.
DENS helps those who find themselves homeless; many of them younger than you'd think. And nearly all of them finding themselves there following turbulent childhoods or sudden, unforeseen changes in circumstance.
Leaving them struggling to keep their heads above water.
£20 would give all rough sleepers the luxury of a hot shower at the Day Centre, leaving them feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and recharged all week.
£30 would enable a homeless person to feel safe, comfortable and warm for the night sleeping at our emergency crash pad when temperatures outside drop below freezing.
£50 would pay for 35 hot lunches at the Day Centre, ensuring no rough sleeper goes hungry over the cold winter months and throughout the year
For one night only, on Friday 15th November I'm swapping my cosy bed to put myself in the shoes of those who have to face sleeping rough every night, supporting the homeless people in Dacorum.
Thank you for your support, T.X
