Prama's vision is a world where no-one is unfairly disadvantaged or excluded because of age or infirmity and where every person can enjoy life.
Our focus is on reducing isolation and loneliness - in addition, we support those living with dementia, brain injury and carers.
Our Pop-In Social Clubs are for elderly people in the community, all run on a weekly basis in existing community and church halls. The clubs are run by volunteers and provide social afternoons, most of which include games such as jigsaws, puzzles, quizzes, bingo, music, discussion and refreshments.
Memory Lane Groups are led by a trained dementia worker, supported by volunteers on a weekly basis. These provide a stimulating environment for people suffering with memory loss or dementia. The groups provide stimulating social activities involving reminiscence discussions, pictures, singing and music around different themes such as weather, jobs and colours.
