In September 2014 my dad broke the news to myself and my family that he had pancreatic cancer. It felt like my whole world had fallen apart but we needed to be strong for him. He could beat this after all he was strong, fit and healthy. The most he'd had was a cold or flu and never taken a day off sick from his work. This wasn't to be,  within 1 month this disease had stollen my dearest dad from me, my brothers, my sister, his wife and his grandchildren. Anyone that knew my dad knows how great a man he was, so full of life and enjoyed every second of it. Always so happy and always there when you needed him. Losing him has left a massive hole in mine and my families lives. There is so little research into this cancer and with it being so aggressive we need to do more.
