Story
We have now done the walk. - yipee.
My dad, Anna, Claire, Olivia, Gereldine, Bridget, Sarah and I all managed to finish the walk in five hours. It was a long five hours but well worth it knowing that we have raised some money for the unit.
My brother Dean ended up cycling round on a tandam bike with his two boys, Joseph and Alfie, they overtook us but it was lovely to see some friendly faces on our walk - its just a shame Dean didnt get sponsors before he did it!
At the end we were greeted by Stuart, Jack, Charlie and Harry, my mum and step-dad, Dean, Joseph and Alfie and Annie and Mick.
We ended our get together with some cake and then Jack, Charlie and Harry let off a balloon into the sky for Max.
Today was about remembering Max and raising money for the unit that saved his twin Harry.
Please help me to reach my target of £500. Any donations however small all add up and make such a difference to the unit that helps to save other babies.
Thank you for your support.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
When Stuart and I found out we were expecting twins last year, we were scared but very excited. Seeing our twins growing each week on the scans made our hearts leap with joy. Feeling our twins move inside me gave us a sense of having something so special. But then our hearts were broken when we found out we had lost one of our twins. And then when we cuddled Max for the first and last time we fell in love with our perfect little baby.
There are two sides to my story. One of great sadness that Max isnt with us and one of great joy that we now have Harry at home.
Even though Max cant be with us he is and always will be an important part of our lives which is why I have decided to do the 13 mile walk in his memory to hopefully raise loads of money for the hospital that looked after Harry.
The walk will take place on 2nd August with a 10.30am start at Bewl Water. My Dad, my cousin Anna, my sister-in-law Olivia and her sister, my special friend Bridgete and her friend Sarah have all agreed to join me in the walk. There is still time to decide on walking with us or if not I would greatly appreciate you sponsoring me.
If you fancy meeting us at the end (I would think or rather hope about 4 hours later), Stuart, Jack, Charlie and Harry will hopefully be there with my picnic and a birthday cake for Charlie and Harry. (Charlie's birthday is a week later and Harry's birthday two weeks later). I am hoping to get all the sponsor money together (you can sponser me through this site or cheques can be made payable to the "Trevor Mann Baby Unit") for the 16th August (Max and Harry's birthday) so that it can be taken to the unit on that day.
My forever thanks goes to the dedicated nurses and doctors at the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) who watched over Harry night and day for three and a half months and got him and us through some very crucial, long days and nights. The unit relies on donations to buy extra equiptment and without this unit and equipment Harry wouldnt be here with us today and so I would like to give something back to enable them to save other babies.
The last year has been really tough for us and I realise it is difficult to know what to say to me but this is one way you can give me your support by helping me reach my target.
