Sadly my nanny lost her battle to cancer on friday 1st february 2013. In her memory and as a thank you to all the loving and caring people that helped her in the final days of her life I will be doing all that I can to help raise awareness of the smaller organisations that go unnoticed at times like this.

In June this year I will be doing tough mudder which is a 10mile assault course ( http://toughmudder.co.uk ) this is going to be a massive challenge for me and require a lot of training but i am going to give it my all and would be grateful of any donations towards my cause.

The Rosemary foundation is a charity that helps deliver palliative care within the community in peoples own homes. One of my Nannys final wishes was to pass away at home in the comfort of all of her family. With the help of the wonderful nurses from various teams this wish was granted. They ensured that her final stages were comfortable dignified and peaceful. Words can not explain how grateful my family and I are for all they do which is why I am fundraising to help them continue to deliver such excellent and personal care to help other families within the community.
