Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On the 24th September I am taking on Shine, the Marathon night walk, to help Cancer Research UK fund their life-saving work.
I'm doing this 26 mile shine walk with Sue's Army! Sue is a wonderful Lady who I first met back in primary school but since moving back to the UK found our children attending the same primary school.
Sue has fought breast cancer this year and makes my heart melt when I think of how strong and determined she has been throughout. Taking part in this walk with Sue and her Army of mums is just a small way for me to contribute to this amazing charity.
Cancer has affected us all in one way or another. I lost my nan to cervical cancer. Medicine and treatments have come a long way with the research done by charity's such as the one we are raising money for.
Doing this walk is one of the biggest challenges I have taken on! I just hope I can do it!
I will be walking in memory of my nan Marcella Judge and all those who lost their battle, those who have won their battle with cancer but not forgetting those who are still having treatment xxx
