We are raising Money for Dravet Sydrome.

Our beautiful girl was diagnosed in August 2020 at just 6 months old. Hollie had her first seizure at 4 months and ever since we have been in and out of hospitals. She is such a strong girl there has been times where the seizures have lasted around 90 minutes. January 2021 Hollie was in and out of seizures for a few hours and after trying many rescue medication which unfortunately couldn't stop them Hollie was put onto a ventilater and transfered to GOSH. Doctors have always found it hard to get medication into her as her veins are really hard to get to so she now has a hickman line, she has the dressing changed weekly and handles it very well. Hollie having dravet comes with many other things including being sensitive with going to the park,walks, baths and even just being in the garden and  many noises can also trigger a seizure.  Hollie is such a strong girl and makes us proud every day but we know dravet syndrome uk needs more money to help families living with this condition.  We have two other children a 6 year old and a 4 year old they have handled it so well and have been fantastic always there trying to talk Hollie telling her that it's all going to be OK, but we know its tough for them seeing their sister having many seizures and being in hospital alot.
