We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Diabetes UK is the largest organisation in the UK working for people with diabetes, funding research, campaigning and helping people live with the condition.

Many members of my family and friends live with diabetes, living to strict diet limitations, monitoring sugar and glucose levels, learning to treat the symptons and signs.

So to help Diabetes UK, I will be trekking Mount Kilimanjo.  In February 2012 I will be climbing to almost 6,000 metres above sea level to Tanzania's highest point.  I will be living in a tent for a week (which for anyone who knows me well, know that will be a challenge in itself!) and experiencing a huge physical challenge.  Please dig deep to give me the incentive to reach the summit and make this a very worthwhile effort for Diabetes UK.

Thank you for your support.

xx
