As Dispensing Opticians (almost in Tanya's case 🤞) with 30 years experience between us 😱 In that time we have completed extensive training in low vision and have seen first hand how sight loss can affect a person mentally, emotionally and physically. Chatting to people who have dealt with sudden losses in vision or those who have been born with sight impairments makes you realise how important those 2 little peepers we have are and how life changing it can be to lose it to any extent. I've also seen first hand how this charity can help people. They support and provide help which can be sometimes life saving and life changing. Imagine having chunks of your vision missing, imagine then being told there's no treatment and the impact that has on your life. This is where these guys come in 💞
 This sept we will be taking part in the Great North run, which if you didn't know, is a half marathon situated up in Newcastle and have decided to run on behalf of the RNIB a charity very close to our hearts
