In the Name of god the merciful, the compassionate.
This Ramadan lets make the intention to make a difference.
This fundraiser will raise funds for Muslim Hands and aid will go to those who most need it. May our efforts be accepted as Sadaqah Jariya for our loved ones no longer here.
And We have not sent you, O Muhammad, except as a mercy to the worlds.’ (Source - Quran 21:107)
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the epitome of mercy, instructing us to show compassion to one another ‘He who does not show mercy to others, will not be shown mercy.’
Now, more than ever, the world needs us to follow his sunnah of mercy. As we enter the blessed month of Ramadan, around the world, the Ummah faces intensifying conflicts, urgent climate crises, devastating disasters, disease outbreaks and soaring inflation.
Communities around the world need our mercy now. We must not delay in helping those who are being plunged deeper into poverty, and oppression. Nobody should feel abandoned and alone in the most blessed month. Make this Ramadan a time of mercy to those in the Ummah facing conflict, hunger, and displacement.
We give with compassion because it is the heart of our religion, but those who show mercy are also promised Allah’s mercy.
Be a mercy to the most vulnerable people, and reap the multiplied blessings of the month of mercy.
