#TaniumGivesBack 24-hour CPR-A-THON Fundraiser
On October 27th 2021, we lost a former colleague, Angela Davies, who suffered an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Despite the best efforts of the local ambulance service, Angela died. She was just 41.
A cardiac arrest is when the heart suddenly stops pumping blood around the body and causes someone to stop breathing and collapse. Early intervention of CPR and defibrillation can drastically change the chances of survival.
As part of our annual #TaniumGivesBack, and with the support of South Central Ambulance Charity, we provided forty employees with the opportunity to learn vital basic lifesaving skills, CPR, use of an AED (Defibrillator) AND to then use these skills for a physical challenge and charity fundraiser.
THE BIG CHALLENGE, TANIUM'S CPR-A-THON
