Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am going to be donning an ill-advised wetsuit and taking to the Tay to help raise money for Parkinson's UK.

Through working for the charity, I have learnt a lot about Parkinson's. About 120,000 people in the UK live with this progressive neurological condition, and there is currently no cure. Parkinson's UK is the single biggest non-commercial funder of research into Parkinson's in the UK, and also offers support and information to families affected by Parkinson's. Although Parkinson's is a very challenging condition to live with, so many of the people that I have met through my job are out there doing challenging things to help Parkinson's UK to help other people.

Risking the harpoon gun seemed like the least that I could do.
