I am acutely aware of how fortunate my children are and I am very thankful to be able to provide for them. However, many people are not so lucky. There are so many children in this country that do not have their basic needs met, with over 4 million living in poverty. This is only going to get worse with current inflationary pressures. 

Despite the social net in the UK, for many reasons, there is no straight-forward fix. Organisations like Unicef UK are a lifeline for many of these children. So I have decided to fundraise for my 100k walk this year to support this charity.
