Complete 500km distance in the month of June, 1st - 30th inclusive. Any type of activity is allowed. Walking, running, cycling, swimming, rowing etc as long as it doesn't involve an engine!

Story

Tando (a Bournemouth based Fintech start up) is taking part in the June 500 to raise money for Dorset Mind. 

10 Tandonites are taking part - so we're going for 5,000 KM!

Local charity Dorset Mind educates, challenges stigma & inequality; and promotes recovery from mental health problems. The charity provides early intervention support in Dorset for over 22,000 adults and young people each year. Their range of services includes: befriending, mentoring and counselling. They help people to identify and develop coping skills and importantly, build resilience. The charity also delivers education/training programmes for schools and workplaces. They also offer volunteer roles and CSR. During COVID-19, Dorset Mind has quickly adapted their services, taking all 1-2-1 support online or by phone. This was in order to offer a continuous service to all current and potential service users, without a break in support.Mental health problems can affect anyone - they do not discriminate. Around 1 in 4 people will suffer from a form of diagnosable mental health problem during their lifetime. The most common forms of mental health problems are anxiety and depres
