Story
On Saturday the 31st of March at a local temple (Shree Sanatan Mandir) I will be attending an event reciting a well known hindu hymn - the Hanuman chalisa. The Hanuman chalisa consists of 40 devotional verses of courage, determination, loyalty, love and devotion.
Usually it takes me about 6 minutes to recite this hymn and on this day, I'll be reciting the Hanuman chalisa continuously 108 times while fasting so I'll be a busy man from morning to evening that day.
Last year, we were blessed with a beautiful healthy daughter. Whilst at the Hospital we came across many children whom were very poorly, some with terminal illnesses.
Wishes 4 Kids was created to grant a wish for children and youngsters in Leicestershire who are life limited, terminally ill, have experienced life-changing physical or emotional traumas, have suffered major abuse or are diagnosed as HIV Positive.
Wishes 4 Kids has already granted hundreds of wishes for local children.
Sadly they do not have a magical cure for the suffering of these youngsters, however, with the help of your donation Wishes 4 Kids can bring a short period of respite.
The time when a child has a wish granted is a moment that will be treasured by them for the rest of their life. It is also a time which parents will remember – that time when their child forgot the suffering.
