Story
After a break from the London Marathon in 2018, it is business as usual for me in 2019. On Sunday 28th April I will be taking to the streets of London once more to raise money for Lupus UK, a charity that is very close to my heart.
Lupus UK is the only national registered charity supporting research into and helping people with the presently incurable immune system illness, Lupus. Lupus is a condition in which the body's defence mechanism begins to attack itself through an excess of antibodies in the bloodstream.
It will be my 16th London Marathon and over the years I have been overwhelmed by the generosity of your sponsorship, thank you!
I would be incredibly grateful if you could sponsor me for 2019, to help raise money for Lupus UK for the invaluable research they carry out and support that they provide.
My training hasn't totally gone to plan as picking up a knee injury 12 weeks into my 16 week training plan means my training has been limited in the final 4 weeks and I will be running with a knee brace. Whilst there isn't a PB on the cards, I am looking forward to experiencing the wonderful day that is the London Marathon once again.
Sadly my brother Ben won't be running again this year as he is in America for a wedding. He will be cheering on from the other side of the pond though.

Many thanks for your support and maybe see some of you around the course on the day!
