Story
So…after completing Virtual Only the Brave in May I decided I wanted a bigger challenge so I’m taking part in a 24 kilometre trek in September for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. but I’m training for the 24 mile option. I might have gone slightly mad but, actually, I can’t think of a better charity to raise funds for. Yes, I’m biased but it’s also a source of great reassurance to know that the incredible team is there 24/7 if the unthinkable happens. From emergency medical services to first aid training to patient aftercare, the EAAA are dedicated to providing the very best care to the people of East Anglia and beyond. I’m proud to be a colleague and equally proud to be a supporter. Any donations you give are most gratefully received.
East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a 365-day-a-year helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk. We exist to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air to seriously ill or injured people in the region. We do not receive regular direct government funding and the £13 million we need to raise this year comes directly from charitable donations. We are only kept airborne thanks to our incredible supporters. Thank you.
