Story

Hello, I'm Tammy! I am so glad there's a charity able to help this condition and I am so excited to be raising money for this cause as I know it will make a HUGE difference in terms of finding a cure and helping those suffering with it.

I will be running the 2021 Lochness Marathon for a  cause close to my heart, MyAware. This is a charity that helps fund, research and support individuals & thier families who have Myasthenia and hopefully one day find a cure for this horrible condition!

Myasthenia is a chronic and rare neuromuscular autoimmune condition which affects the muscles in the body. It causes weakness in the skeletal muscles and these are responsible for functions involving breathing & the movement of your muscles, including your arms and legs. The immune system—which normally protects the body from foreign organisms—mistakenly attacks itself. It currently has no cure but can be managed with treatments. However, with the help of fundraising and awareness, this can be changed.

I would be grateful if you could donate to this amazing charity and be involved in 'Fighting Myasthenia Together!' No matter how small it is, it will help massively!!

"We make a living by what we get but we make a life for what we give"

Thank you so much for taking the time to read if you have made it this far, and thank you for donating!!
