Birmingham Mailbox Abseil · 16 April 2011
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am doing a 131ft abseil down the front of the Mailbox in Birmingham to raise money for Birmingham Childrens Hospital, without their care my son Jake would probably not be here today. He was born with a congenital heart defect called a VSD which means he had a hole in his heart. At 8 weeks old he underwent open heart surgery to have a patch fitted to repair the hole. Looking at him now you would never guess how ill he was and how close we came to losing him forever. The donations made are going to fund a new hybrid cardiac theatre to help children just like Jake who need special cardiac care. Please, please, please, give whatever you can afford. Thanks for your donations and support
