Story

Hello friends!

Me again.  As some of you know, I'm in the midst of a running streak. I've run EVERY SINGLE day since 1 April 2020.

So why not throw (another) half marathon into the mix for a very good cause...!!

I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 10 October 2021 on behalf of Leap Confronting Conflict.

[Many thanks to those who supported me and Leap when I ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon virtually last year!]

Our young people have been severely impacted by the COVID pandemic. Conflict in the lives of young people is one of the big issues of our time. Leap Confronting Conflict’s purpose is to give young people the skills to manage conflict in their lives. Leap has over 30 years’ experience supporting young people who may be in care, in prison, excluded from school or on the periphery of gangs.

By running this half marathon I will not only be reaching another personal goal, but with your fundraising help we will be giving young people the skills and knowledge to better mange conflict, reduce violence in our communities and help lead our society.

Please support me and Leap.

Thank you!
