Story
Hello family & friends,
I’m walking on Sunday in memory of my grandma Edith (see photo!) who, as many of you know, came to Britain on 5th July 1939 on the Kindertransport. The walk is one of the events that marks 80 years since the Kindertransport.
For many years Grandma really enjoyed AJR (Association of Jewish Refugees) activities including lunches and holidays. She really appreciated the team who organised everything and created a warm atmosphere.
This is more of a tribute to Grandma than an heroic physical feat on my part!
The money raised will support Holocaust survivors living in poverty in Israel.
If you’d like to support me, I’d really appreciate it.
Thank you very much,
Tamara
