A few weeks ago Trevor Fox passed away after a 4 year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most under funded areas if cancer, despite being the 5th biggest cancer killer in the UK. Only 3% of people will survive 5 years or more, and these survival rates have not improved at all over the last 40 years. The only way to beat pancreatic cancer is for more money to be funded into finding ways to detect the disease earlier.
I am running for Pancreatic Cancer UK in order to raise money and awareness for this often terminal form of cancer.
