Story
In memory of Timothy Joesph Danaher (November 1952-April 2015)
My dad passed away in 2015, although Parkinson's did not claim his life he fought the disease for many years and finding a cure was something he was always very passionate about.
Throughout the years my mother and brothers have seen the daily struggles and difficulties that Parkinson's brought to dads life, but he was able to make the best out of every day. He truly was an inspiration to us all, always witty and full of humor to make the best out of every situation he faced. He and my mother showed how a strong loving relationship was able to manage the symptoms and with great courage and strength, he was able to give us all a happy childhood and home full of great memories, and that is why he will always be my hero!
I am running the Big Half for my brave dad Tim Danaher to raise awareness and help even a tiny bit, for a brighter future for those and their families who are suffering now. Please give kindly what you can for Parkinson's UK, to help them to continue their fantastic research to help change lives.
