Story

I am completing the 10.5 for 10.5 Challenge for Ataxia U.K. to raise money, awareness  and support for  the 10,500 people in the UK with ataxia and their loved ones.

This week as we say good bye to beautiful Sunil, I embark on a challenge to raise money and awareness for Ataxia U.K. a neurological condition that Sunil was diagnosed with. Sunil had spinocerebellar ataxia, a rare form of the condition, affecting movements

I was privileged to be a part of his and his family’s life while providing support and advocacy to Sunil during his secondary school years. He was a very special boy and will always have a special place in my heart. He could light a room with his smile, make an entire room laugh with his humour and wit and made my heart burst with pride due to his tenacity and resilience.

Thank you for the time we spent laughing Sunil. I will miss you deeply.
